| Animals have always been a large part of Lisa's life, and in many ways her inspiration. In fact, she credits the adoption of her rescued Dalmatian, Sparky, as the catalyst for starting Pet Photos - her 1200 square foot family and pet portrait studio in Lombard, Illinois. "Sparky was the most amazing, calm and devoted dog I ever met," Lisa recalls. "We immediately formed a deep connection with each other, and we were inseparable. I sometimes told people that Sparky was my animal soul mate. Although he is no longer with me, I look at photos I've captured of him and remember the wonderful times we shared."
Since 2003, Lisa has provided photography sessions which are sought after by people who share the same love and adoration for their pets as Lisa has for her own. Lisa explains, "Our pets are so influential to our lifestyles, and they are considered a part of the family. The images that I capture reflect the close relationships that we form with our animals, and provide memories that will be cherished for a lifetime." Located just 30 miles West of Chicago, Pet Photos attracts pet lovers both near and far. Clients have driven in from Wisconsin, Indiana, and Southern Illinois to enjoy the professional and fun experience of a Pet Photos pet portrait session. Lisa also shares her talents with the community, donating photography services to local not-for-profit organizations including Dalmatian Rescue of Illinois, Canine Companions for Independence, and PetsNPatients Foundation. Her work is featured nationally and internationally in magazines, on book covers, and as displays in veterinary offices, grooming salons and pet boutiques. View the Pet Photos image gallery now |
